Every year, that moment arrives: the discount campaigns. And every year, we receive the same question:
Why doesn't Vesica Piscis do sales?
The answer lies in how we produce, because the way we produce also shapes the way we sell and the way we consume.
We make it when it's needed
At Vesica Piscis, we don't accumulate products waiting to be sold.
Each pair is born in our workshop when someone orders it.
Vegan materials, recycled, organic and recyclable.
Circular economy.
Made-to-order production.
No warehouses to empty.
No surplus to clear.
We make it when it's needed.
100% ON demand.
Fair price year-round
Creating a pair of Vesica Piscis requires the same work in December as in July.
The same hours.
The same materials.
The same care.
That's why the price is also the same.
The work doesn't change.
Neither does the price.
A different way of relating to consumption
Discounts have been part of how we shop for decades.
For many people, they're an opportunity to save, plan purchases, or access something they need. And that's completely understandable.
But today, many purchasing decisions are increasingly driven by immediacy: temporary discounts, limited-time offers, or the feeling that you have to decide now.
Sometimes, when all attention focuses on the opportunity to buy, we stop looking at everything behind a product.
And then an important question can fade into the background:
Do I really need this?
Because a product's story begins long before the moment of purchase.
Before that, there are selected materials, energy spent, and decisions that leave a mark.
That's why it's worth asking yourself:
- What does buying this product mean?
- What life will it have after it reaches me?
- What mark will it leave when I no longer use it?
Knowing that story simply expands the perspective we bring to our decisions.
What changes when there are no discounts
Not designing production around a discount campaign has consequences that go far beyond price.
When we produce only to order, there's no need to make more "just in case." And if we don't overproduce, there's no surplus waiting to be cleared.
Materials and energy are used only for what's actually being made, not for sales predictions.
And there's another consequence, a quieter one.
When the price doesn't change depending on the season, there's no date pushing you to decide before you're ready.
The decision returns to you and to the moment you choose.
And perhaps that's the real difference.
When production changes, discounts stop being a necessity.
